Cathy M. Poturny
With more than 15 years of experience in financial marketing, Ms. Poturny brings a keen perspective to the firm. Creative, detail-oriented and professional, Cathy is a hands-on leader with expertise in branding, advertising, media planning, collateral development, channel marketing and vendor management.
Prior to coming to Laffey Associates, Ms Poturny was the Director of Marketing for a major metropolitan bank where she honed her analytical & statistical skills developing significant revenue generating projects. Getting to the heart of the project, Ms. Poturny has a proven ability to partner with the sales force to design and deploy compelling campaigns that acquire customers and gain the competitive edge. Cathy has built her career around forging new relationships, introducing new branding strategies and most important, a strong public relations image.
Marketing
Direct and oversee organization's marketing policies, objectives, and initiatives. Review changes to the marketplace and industry and adjust marketing plan accordingly. Rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Perform a variety of tasks including collateral development, brand identification, lead generation and database management. Lead and direct the work of others including Marketing Assistant and when necessary, Administrative staff in corporate office, to fulfill project deadlines. Contribute to the firm’s overall marketing and strategic planning programs and corporate communications goals.
Big Projects
Plans, designs and develops comprehensive marketing & sales programs for large projects, luxury homes international and specialty markets. Responsible for creating and implementing and review project performance. Handles all aspects of project including directing the creative team, administrative staff and assisting in sales presentations. Develop the Policies & Procedures for handling the division. Includes telecommunications, web site, collateral, lead acquisition, banner placement, Call Center, and writing content for website, Brochures, Sell Sheets, Tag Lines (branding & image). Provides a keen understanding of branding, lead acquisition and results-driven marketing programs.
Public Relations
Directs and implements the firm’s public relations strategies. Manages media relationships, announcements, editorial placement and speaking opportunities. Develops press releases and supporting materials.
Corporate Affairs
Designs, plans and directs the firm’s quarterly sales meetings, corporate giving and volunteer programs. Represents the company in all activities associated with internal and external activities in the community. Advises on policies or programs that promote good will and foster relationships with employees, management and community at large. Familiar with field concepts, practices and procedures. Creativity and attention to detail expected.
